How to auto-retweet : Step 1 create an account at http://twitterfeed.com/, Step 2 use my yahoo pipe to create an RSS feed http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=5581606723e62fea7d7fc2fed77ab44f, Step 3 log into twitter feed and use the RSS feed above to retweet to your profile. Yes its cheating but saves a lot of time.
Retweet tweets with a given keyword and/or from a given user
pipes.yahoo.com
Creates an RSS feed based on: 1. A input keyword or hash tag (fed to twitter search) 2. A user name that is provided 3. Feeds out data in a Retweet format. This can be passed into another Twitter account by the feed bot from TweetBots.com
Russell,
ReplyDeleteJust FYI twitterfeed doesn't post from twitter to twitter because too many users were creating endless loops, this should be ok as long as your pipe doesn't search for content and then posts it to the twitter account that it came from, creating an endless loop.
Potentially a fantastic time saver, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Twitter feed said "Your feed might be empty or missing publish dates or GUIDs. A feed needs to contain publish dates or GUIDs in order to work with twitterfeed, see help". :-(
ReplyDeleteI use up-to-date auto retweet service - RoundTeam - http://roundteam.co. It is free and simple to use. So I don't need to "invent" anything any more))) It took me about 2 mins to set my auto-retweeting parameters.
ReplyDeletethis doesnt work
